Three Successful Installations
The freezing trawler Gnúpur GK-11 was one of the first marine vessels to be fitted with the ELCorrect system. The whole operation on-board the ship was transformed. From dramatic drops in fuel levels consumed on each fishing expedition to lowering the failure rates of all on-board equipment.
Thorfish have since installed the ELCorrect system on two other ships, operated by the company. These are Hrafn GK111 and Hrafn Sveinbjarnarson GK255. Similar effects were observed on all three ships. Savings on oil, less heat-buildup and very little maintenance.
